In line with our mission to create transformative opportunities for Birmingham's youth, the Poze Bazaar Foundation is thrilled to announce our Financial Literacy Impact Day in partnership with Build Up Community School, the nation's pioneering workforce development program for low-income youth.
Empowering Through Education
Build Up Community School stands apart with its innovative approach: combining career-focused education with hands-on trade skills training, ultimately leading to home ownership opportunities for their students. This aligns perfectly with PBF's commitment to creating lasting impact in our community.
A Partnership That Builds Futures
Since 2023, our collaboration with Build Up has grown from developing arts education curriculum to supporting tangible life experiences. Most recently, we've had the honor of supporting Build Up's Class of 2025 in their educational journey, including their first senior trip to Orlando - a testament to the power of combining financial literacy with real-world experiences.
Financial Literacy Impact Day Details:
Students will experience a dynamic mix of hands-on financial workshops, personalized mentoring, and real-world budgeting simulations, connect with industry professionals through networking opportunities and engage in peer-led discussions. All participants will receive financial literacy resources and have chances to win door prizes throughout this interactive learning experience.
We're honored to welcome distinguished leaders who are passionate about empowering our youth through financial education:
