Our Story
Igniting Creative Powerhouses
The name "Poze Bazaar" carries a powerful meaning - celebrating one's position as a powerhouse in their gifts and talents. This profound philosophy perfectly encapsulates the mission of an organization that has become a catalyst for artistic transformation in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded by La'Vinnia Holliday and Lannell Truss in 2017 and achieving 501(c)(3) status in 2021, Poze Bazaar Foundation (PBF) emerged from a visionary's recognition that young talents needed more than just opportunities - they needed a place where their gifts could be celebrated, nurtured, and amplified.
Our impact resonates through Birmingham communities, where numerous students have discovered their artistic voice through accessible workshops. Our comprehensive approach spans fashion, music, and visual arts, creating a multi-disciplinary platform for young talents to explore and excel.
Poze Bazaar Foundation Honors Award Show, our signature fundraiser, celebrates excellence while bridging aspiring artists with industry leaders, bringing together celebrities and community heroes passionate about our youth and arts education. PBF's scholarship program opens doors for passionate students regardless of academic or financial background, while strategic partnerships extend support beyond traditional arts education.
