With a mission rooted in legacy, the Pepper Holliday Scholarship Fund honors a life of extraordinary service and a deep commitment to nurturing young talent. A 30-year military veteran and co-founder of the Poze Bazaar Foundation, Pepper Holliday dedicated her life to creating healthy environments where creative gifts can flourish.
Alongside her daughter, founder La’Vinnia Holliday, that same spirit of service lives on through Poze Bazaar by expanding access and building real opportunity for youth in underserved communities.
We don’t do this work alone. We partner with nonprofits and community organizations to strengthen their missions, extend resources, and reach young people we may not reach on our own. That’s what it means to be the village that surrounds and uplifts the next generation.
And we don’t just celebrate talent, we fund it. Each year, we award one $1,000 Pepper Holliday Scholarship to a graduating high school senior, helping cover tuition, supplies, and the support needed to take the next step. This is more than a scholarship. It’s continued service, not only to country, but to creativity, making sure young artists have what they need to shine.

Poze Bazaar UNITE
Our UNITE Strategic Partnership Initiative brings together organizations, businesses, and community leaders who share our commitment to transforming young lives through arts education in Birmingham and beyond.
Our partnership philosophy is simple: we work with those who value access, opportunity, and real outcomes for youth. We create networks to enhance resources across Birmingham and beyond, co-developing innovative programs that make arts education more accessible and engaging. Ultimately, we build relationships to drive lasting change for underserved youth.
Partnerships with Prescott House, Build UP Community School, the Birmingham Stallions, and retailers such as Belk and Riverchase Galleria demonstrate the possibilities for collaboration. Together, we create sustainable pathways and inspire the next generation of leaders in Birmingham and beyond.
