HAIR & MUA APPLICATION

We are looking for professional and creative stylists who will work well with our designers in order to bring their collection to life on the runway. Each designer will have 8-15 models to style on the day of the show. There is a strong possibility you will work on multiple designers' models each day. You will be provided with a mood board for each designer so you can know what to expect.

Call Times: Approximately 9:00 am each day, with a mandatory 9:30 am huddle to review the concepts for the day and confirm materials needed.

Requirements

You will be required to provide your own product and styling tools. If a designer requests a specific look/style that requires elaborate embellishments, the designer must supply the prop. These items will be distributed during the mandatory huddle.
Hair and Makeup will be required to be completed at the show venue, within the designated area, unless prior arrangements with Poze Bazaar have been made.
You must Check In and Check Out at each show - Your designer and/or a Poze Bazaar staff member must sign off on the work completed.

Application Process

For Salons:

Form should be filled out by the salon owner/manager, noting the list of participants who will be attending and the dates each participant will be present.
The final participant list must be completed and turned into Poze Bazaar no later than two (2) weeks before Poze Bazaar.

For Freelance Artists:

Freelance artists are welcome to apply.
All freelance artists must apply individually.

Deadline

Applications will be accepted up to (3) days before show dates.

All style teams must work on-site for their designer unless previously discussed with Poze Bazaar.

No coloring of hair is to be performed within the venue.

Each style team will provide a list of first/last names for anyone working backstage at least (2) weeks in advance. No one will be permitted backstage if not on this list.

No drugs are allowed on the premises.

No alcohol consumption will be allowed backstage.

NO professional (DSLR) cameras are allowed backstage without prior approval & media badge.

No assistants, this is due to space limitations. Only Poze Bazaar-approved personnel are allowed backstage. This will be strictly enforced for safety.

No banners or other large promotions. This is due to space. (We are happy to talk about your salon/freelance stylist becoming a sponsor!)

Extension cords are a must! Outlets are limited.

Clean Use is a MUST. Bring plenty of spoolies / cotton swabs / foam sponges / etc.

A portable HMU chair is HIGHLY recommended.
