We're committed to bringing a new standard to fashion events that celebrate emerging talent. Our primary goal is to produce high-quality, professionally executed runway experiences that put YOU in the spotlight. We want you to be noticed, and we're here to help build your brand.


Whether you're launching your first collection or building momentum for your brand, we're looking for talent that's ready to rise.


The Selection Process

  4. Final Interview: Meet with our team to discuss the opportunity

  5. Selection Notification: The Chosen Class will receive their invitation

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: (PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY)

Your cooperation is necessary in order for us to give your work a full, fair, and timely review. Please review and follow these guidelines very carefully and read all information provided. Any designer interested in participating must fully complete and return this form and all other application materials. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION:

  • Submit your application materials in the time frame allotted: [APPLICATION OPEN DATE] - [APPLICATION CLOSE DATE]

  • Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59pm CST on [DEADLINE DATE] to be considered. No late applications will be accepted. No exceptions.

  • Poze Bazaar is looking for designers whose collections fall into the following design categories: Ready-to-wear, Couture, Womenswear, Menswear, Streetwear, Swimwear, Accessories, Avant-Garde, Athleticwear, and Artistic Fashion.

  • You must submit at least 4 photos of your previous work with your application.


MEETINGS, IMPORTANT DATES, AND INFORMATION

Upon selection, you will be sent a Designer Orientation Packet and Designer Contract. Please read this packet thoroughly.


Designer Fee:

  • If selected, each designer will be required to pay a $[AMOUNT] designer fee (or $[STUDENT AMOUNT] for student designers currently enrolled in a fashion design program) in order to participate. This fee is non-refundable. Please consider this before submitting payment and your designer contract.

  • Your $[AMOUNT] designer fee (or $[STUDENT AMOUNT] for student designers) must be paid in the form of a check (made payable to Poze Bazaar) or through PayPal/Venmo immediately.

  • Designers will not receive the Poze Bazaar model roster or will not be announced and receive any promotion until their designer contract and entry fee are submitted.


Mandatory Follow-Up Interview

A mandatory follow-up interview with each designer will be scheduled for [INTERVIEW WEEKEND DATES]. This interview will be held in-person and you should plan on bringing all pieces of your collection that are in progress for review.


This interview is held for the panel to see the progress of your collection before the show. You must be available for a follow-up interview at this time.


If a designer misses their follow-up interview, they will not be allowed to show their collection.

Model Casting Process

Poze Bazaar will hold [NUMBER] castings for models. All selected models will be placed in a database, and only those models will be permitted to walk for designers. Every model wishing to participate in a Poze Bazaar show must attend a casting, including specific models you may want to have in your show.

IMPORTANT: Model castings will be closed to designers, agents, and guests. One parent/guardian may accompany a minor to auditions. Please send any models you would like to use to Poze Bazaar if you are selected as a designer. Model castings will occur after designers are chosen for the runway shows.

Model Database

Designers selected will receive a database containing model numbers, photos, a video of their runway walk from casting, and preliminary measurements after paying their designer fee. This information must not be shared with anyone except the designer and should not be posted on social media

Model Registration and Approval

To ensure a successful event, every model must be from the Poze Bazaar model roster and registered with Poze Bazaar. Models must attend a casting, be selected for the roster, and complete a registration and image release form. Poze Bazaar reserves the right to refuse registration to any model at its sole discretion.

Model Booking Process

After selecting models from the roster, send your preferences to Poze Bazaar, which will contact the models on your behalf. Once models are confirmed, you will receive their contact information for scheduling fittings and information distribution.


DO NOT CONTACT MODELS DIRECTLY before completing this process; contacting models through social media outside of this process will disqualify them from walking for you.

Model Selection Assistance

Poze Bazaar will assist designers in model selection upon request. If models are not secured by the conclusion of follow-up interviews, Poze Bazaar will select models without further input. Designers must communicate the sizes and heights of needed models within 72 hours; otherwise, those looks won’t appear in the runway show.

Rehearsals and Rack Checks

Mandatory dress rehearsals and rack checks will be held for all participating designers and models on [REHEARSAL DATE(S)]. Each designer will receive a designated time slot for their models. Missing these checks will result in the inability to show the collection.

During the dress rehearsal, designers must bring all pieces to be shown for a thorough check. If the collection is not 90% complete, pieces may be cut from the show. This time can also be used for model fittings; please inform Poze Bazaar if fittings will occur. Models must attend this rehearsal to walk in Poze Bazaar, so communicate these dates as soon as they are selected for your show.

DESIGNER ENTRY FEE

Designer Fee:

Selected designers must pay a $[AMOUNT] fee ($[STUDENT AMOUNT] for students) to participate. This non-refundable fee must be paid via check (made out to Poze Bazaar) or PayPal/Venmo immediately. Promotion and model roster access will only occur upon submission of the fee and contract.

Collaborations:

For collaboration recognition, both designers must submit applications and fees. Collaborations with other brands require prior approval from Poze Bazaar and will not receive credit in images unless both brands have submitted their applications.

Hair/Makeup Requirements

All hair/makeup styling must be completed on-site by approved Poze Bazaar stylists. No off-site hair/makeup will be allowed.


Choreography

All choreography will be determined by Poze Bazaar (with designer suggestions considered. ) No choreography si to be practice with models or decided on or before official Poze Bazaar rehearsals.


Travel and Logistics

Travel for designers, models, hairstylist, MUA, etc, is not the responsbility of Poze Bazaar and will need to be handled by the individual participating.

Compliance

By submitting your application and accepting selection to participate in Poze Bazaar, you agree to comply with all requirements, policies, and guidelines outlined in this document and all other Poze Bazaar designer materials. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may result in removal from the event without refund of designer fees.

Accuracy of Information

The undersigned hereby represents and warrants that all statements, representations, and information provided in this Agreement are true, accurate, and complete to the best of their knowledge and belief. The undersigned further acknowledges that any misrepresentation or omission may be grounds for termination of this Agreement and/or other remedies available at law or in equity.
